“Skogshytte" - These 4-hour guided tours take us from the heart of famous Holmenkollen to traditional Norwegian “Skogshytte” or cabin in the woods where you can enjoy a drink and treat at a cafe. This is truly a favorite Norwegian pastime and unreachable by modern transport - these cabins are truly an Oslo hidden gem.

Tour Availability: May through November

Starting Point: various subway stations above with the destination of Tryvannstua, Skjennungstua or Ullevålseter.

Price: 1 person kr. 3150,- + kr. 1575,- pr extra person

Includes:

Our private winter hiking tours are similar to our “Skogshytte" Winter Destination Group Hike.

This 4-hour guided tour takes us from the heart of Holmenkollen to Tryvannstua, a traditional Norwegian “Skogshytte” or cabin in the wood, to enjoy a warm drink and treat by the fire. This is truly a favorite Norwegian pastime and these cabins are unreachable by modern transport. Winter in Oslo is truly unique and our cafe cabins in the forest are a hidden gem.

Tour Availability: November through Easter

Starting Point: Midtstuen (subway) Station with the destination of Tryvannstua.

Price: 1 person kr. 3150,- + kr. 1575,- pr extra person

Includes:

• 4-hour guided hike with a certified guide (from meeting point)

• Hiking Poles and winter spike for shoes if needed

*Alternative destination is Ullevålseter, by request.

This 4-hour guided tour takes us from the Midtstuen (Subway station) all the way up through the romantic “Kittelsen” forests to a surprising and spectacular view over Oslo where guests will rest with a warm drink. This hike ends at the infamous and historical Frogerseteren cafe where guest can take the subway back to the city center, visit the cafe or the nearby Roseslottet museum.

Tour Availability: November until mid December (or when the snow flies!) *We add snowshoes from January!

Tour Route: Midtstuen (subway) Station to Frognersetern.

Price: NOK 1350,- per person

Includes:

• 4-hour guided hike with a certified guide (from meeting point)

• Hiking Poles and winter spike for shoes if needed
