Privacy is important to us and we have adopted and follow EU requirements. We are committed to protecting the integrity, availability and confidentiality of personal information. This privacy statement provides information about what personal information is collected, how the information is collected and what rights users have when personal information is registered with us.

 

1. Basic requirements - Processing Personal Data

XP Coaching & Consulting AS owns and operates xpcoaching.no (xpskiing.no) and is responsible for processing personal data when customers visit our websites or use our services. The information is processed in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Act.

 

2. Why & What Information We Process

Information about you and how you use our services.

In order to deliver our services, we process user information and use of our services. We process name, telephone number, email address, and postal address (if applicable) information. In addition, we process the information filled in on our pages when making a purchase so we can best understand customer needs.

Technical information

In order to deliver our services, offering the best possible user experience and customer support, we collect and process some technical information about  visitors to our website. We process information about which device and browsers that are used, IP addresses, landing pages and visitor history.


Payment information

XP Coaching & Consulting AS does not process payment information beyond what is required by Norwegian law. When paying by invoice or card, we do not store information beyond what is necessary to ensure efficient handling of any problems with debit, cancellation of reservation or crediting. We follow the Accounting Act for the storage of accounting documents.

Course information

Our website is updated with course locations and information. To ensure important information is communicated to the course participants, emails or text messages are our main form of communication. Emails are sent to all participants of a group course ( blind copy is not used to ensure emails do not go into the spam filter). 

Protection of your personal information

It is mandatory that personal data is stored securely and confidentially. However, there is always a risk with data transfers via the Internet. It will never be possible to secure 100% in such transfers as others may unjustifiably force access to them. It is therefore under the responsibility of the user to provide the necessary personal information.

3. Our Email / Newsletter

We send out emails to our followers on average two times a month. Participants in our courses receive this only when opting-in or in regards to particular offers. Our email correspondence is intended to provide excellent customer follow-up and you can unsubscribe at any time.

 

4. Cookies

Like most websites, our websites (listed above) use cookies. A cookie is a text file that is placed in your browser's internal memory when visiting or interacting with a website. Cookies from the first provider are absolutely necessary to ensure a good user experience. Third-party cookies can be turned off without affecting the functionality of the website.

XP Coaching websites use third-party cookies from Google and Meta. These cookies collect data about content and pages people have visited on our websites and are used for the purpose of remarketing with more relevant ads and offers in these channels. The cookies from Google are also used to keep statistics on the user activity on our pages. The cookies contain only aggregated information and no information that can identify users. 5. Electronic Marketing

Like most businesses, we market our services. However, privacy is important to us and we want to limit any inconvenience this may cause. Active customers will be sent electronic marketing of products and services that we believe are of interest based on previous purchases unless otherwise informed. Changes to preferences can be done by using the unsubscribe link in the newsletters or by sending an email to info (at) xpcoaching.no.

 

6. Use of Data Processors

XP Coaching & Consulting AS enters into a data processor agreement with everyone who processes personal data on our behalf. Our data processors may not process personal information in any way other than as agreed with us and described in this privacy statement. We do not transfer personal data to countries outside the EU / EEA.

For online booking and scheduling of private lessons, group courses, trips, packages, subscriptions and gift cards, we use acuity:scheduling and Stripe payment solution. For individual business invoicing, we use Fiken.no

 

7. Storage and Deletion Routines

Personal data will not be stored longer than necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing and statutory obligations, for example, under accounting legislation.

 

8. Changes in the Privacy Statement

Changes in our privacy statement will be published on our website 14 days before they are implemented.

9. Rights

Customers have the right to access information stored about them and can demand correction of incorrect or incomplete information. Information can also be requested to be deleted. If personal data processed is in violation of the law, a complaint can be filed to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (www.datatilsynet.no)
